Welcome to this virtual exhibition. It presents a collection of images which help to tell the story of the millions of people who moved from Europe to North America during the past millennium.

These images have been brought together by members of the Association of European Migration Institutions. The exhibition is designed to encourage comparative study by allowing the visitor to select any two images and examine them side by side.
